What makes this recipe stand out-is the fresh garlic! This chopped liver is extremely tender and flavorful.  It’s a simple nutritious main dish that tastes lovely with any array of side dishes, such as potatoes, rice or pasta.
chicken liver

1 lb of chicken liver (cut up)
1 medium onion, chopped
1 cloves of fresh garlic
Salt

Sauté onion on a small flame until it’s transparent. Add garlic (either pressed or cut up into small pieces). Add liver and sauté on a small fire until it is brown and is no longer pink inside (about 25 minutes). Add salt and serve hot. Enjoy this as a delicious appetizer or as a meal with any side dish!
